This album saw a return to my 'reflective' style, released at the same time as 'Fire Queen' it became the natural vehicle for the material too gentle to represent 'fire'. Very much in the same spirit as 'Edge of Dreams' this album contains some melodic favourites (tracks 1 and 5) as well as some interesting new influences, track 2 features piano accordion and pedal steel guitar over a 7/8 rhythm(!) while track 4 carried me into 'chill out' territory for the first time in years. |

All music composed, arranged and performed by Phil Thornton. |
Tranquil and refreshingly pure, this music achieves the perfect balance between being intimate and reflective, and at the same time inventive, poetic and pleasurable. Journeying through worlds of extraordinary beauty, daydreams and memories play with our senses and open up new perspectives, creating insight and nurturing the power of visualisation.
